Prasaranyadadi Kashayam Tablets present the classical Prasarinyadi Kashayam in a convenient tablet form. The formulation takes its name from its chief herb, Prasarini (Merremia tridentata), whose Sanskrit name comes from prasarana, meaning to spread, stretch or extend, a fitting description for a plant long associated with restoring easy stretching and movement to stiff, restricted joints. The suffix adi indicates "and other herbs".
Ayurvedic Significance
Stiffness, catching and discomfort in the neck, shoulder and lower back are understood in Ayurveda largely as the work of aggravated Vata drying and constricting the Asthi (bone) and Mamsa (muscle) dhatus and the Snayu (ligaments).
