Manjishtha Powder is pure Rubia cordifolia, the dravya Ayurveda ties above all to Raktaprasadana, the classical action of supporting healthy blood. English knows this forest climber as Indian madder; the Sanskrit name means bright red, and its root has coloured cloth across South Asia for centuries. Rasa Tikta, Kashaya and Madhura; Virya Shita; Vipaka Katu, quieting Pitta and Kapha.

Ayurvedic Significance

Rakta Dhatu is the second tissue formed from digested food, and Ayurveda reads its condition at the surface, in the colour and clarity of the skin. Manjishtha is taken to keep Rakta well nourished and the Raktavaha Srotas open, easing the Pitta heat that gathers through the warmer months. Practitioners also value it as Varnya. Being Shita and drying, it is introduced gently with a suitable Anupana and continued over a season.

Key Benefits

  • Healthy Blood Support: the classical Raktaprasadana dravya, taken to keep Rakta Dhatu well nourished.
  • Even, Clear Complexion: a Varnya herb, valued for the way Ayurveda links the skin's surface to the tissue beneath.
  • Summer Cooling: Shita Virya makes Manjishtha a natural choice when heat builds through the warm season.
  • Srotas Openness: traditionally used to keep the Raktavaha channels flowing freely.
  • Steady Daily Herb: mild enough in whole-herb form to be continued as a routine rather than a short course.

Ingredients

Each 10 g of powder contains: Manjishta, Rubia cordifolia - 10 g. Certified organically grown.

Pure, Organically grown, Unprocessed, Dried powdered herb packed in air-tight zip locked Kraft pouch to maintain aroma and freshness.

Suggested Use

Take ¼ to ½ teaspoon with warm milk twice daily, before meals. Milk is the preferred Anupana, softening the root's cooling dryness over a course continued through the warmer months. Consult a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner for dosage and duration suited to your constitution (Prakriti).

Additional Information
