Kerala Ayurveda Chiruvilwadi Kwath Tablets present a classical decoction (Kwath) in a convenient tablet form. Based on the Chikitsa Manjari tradition, the formula centres on Chiruvilva and Punarnava, supported by warming Chitraka, Pippali and Nagara and the balancing Abhaya (Haritaki). Together these herbs kindle Agni, support healthy digestion and encourage comfortable elimination while helping to balance Vata and Kapha. Prepared by Kerala Ayurveda, evolving Ayurveda since 1945, these tablets bring the strength of a traditional herbal decoction into an easy daily format.
Ayurvedic Significance
Chiruvilwadi Kwath is a classical formulation valued for its Deepana and Pachana action on a sluggish Agni. When Kapha accumulates and Vata moves irregularly, digestion can feel heavy and elimination uneven. The pungent, warming herbs Chitraka, Pippali and Nagara stimulate the digestive fire and help clear Ama from the Srotas, while Chiruvilva and Punarnava support the natural downward flow and lighten the channels. Abhaya (Haritaki) offers a gentle Anulomana influence that guides Vata in its proper direction. Rendered as a Kwath in tablet form, the preparation delivers this time-tested synergy conveniently, supporting a balanced Vata-Kapha state.
Key Benefits
- Supports healthy digestion — warming Chitraka, Pippali and Nagara kindle Agni for stronger, more comfortable digestion.
- Encourages comfortable elimination — Abhaya and Chiruvilva support the natural downward flow for easy, regular movement.
- Balances Vata and Kapha — the pungent, light herbs help pacify excess Kapha while steadying Vata.
- Helps clear Ama — the formulation supports gentle clearing of metabolic residue from the channels.
- Classical Kwath, convenient form — a traditional decoction delivered in an easy-to-take daily tablet.
Ingredients
Each tablet is prepared from a decoction of Chiruvilva (Holoptelea integrifolia) 1.21 g, Punarnava (Boerhavia diffusa) 1.21 g, Abhaya / Haritaki (Terminalia chebula) 1.21 g, Chitraka (Plumbago indica) 1.21 g, Pippali (Piper longum) 1.21 g and Nagara (Zingiber officinale) 0.81 g. Prepared with permitted excipients.
Suggested Use
Take one to two tablets, or as advised by your Ayurvedic practitioner. A cup of warm water makes a suitable Anupana and complements the warming nature of the herbs. Best taken as part of a light, freshly prepared diet. Consult a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner before beginning, especially during any ongoing health concern.
