Gurmar also known as Madhunashini / Shardunika / Meshashringi, with botanical name Gymnema sylvestre, is basically a sugar destroyer. Madhu means "Sweet" and Nashini means "destroyer" in Sanskrit. It helps to maintain healthy sugar levels in the body. The powder is made from the leaves of Gymnema sylvestre, which contains gymnemic acids that possess anti-diabetic and hypoglycemic properties. Gymnema also supports blood sugar levels already within normal range. A little Gurmar on the tongue has the power to dull the taste buds to the sense of sweet, thus it is known as the "killer of sweet". It promotes the healthy production of insulin and supports the body's natural metabolic process. Gymnema also promotes healthy management of the appetite and sugar cravings.
Suggested Usage:1g twice daily with warm water or honey.
