Organic Arjuna Powder is certified organic Terminalia arjuna stem bark, the dravya the classics assign to the long, unhurried Hridya Rasayana course. The Sanskrit Arjuna means shining white, after the pale bark the tree renews each year; the texts also call it Kakubha. Ayurvedic Energetics: Rasa Kashaya (astringent), Virya Shita (cooling), Vipaka Katu (pungent). It lowers Kapha and Pitta and can raise Vata.
Ayurvedic Significance
Ayurveda distinguishes between a dravya taken briskly and one taken slowly, and Arjuna belongs firmly to the second kind. As a Rasayana for Hridaya its work is understood to accumulate through Rasa and Rakta Dhatu over months rather than days, which is why the classics give it as Ksheerapaka, simmered into milk, so the unctuous carrier answers its Ruksha astringency. Its Shita Virya settles Sadhaka Pitta, the aspect the texts seat at Hridaya.
Key Benefits
- Hridya Rasayana: the classical rejuvenative for the seat of Ojas, taken as a long course.
- Healthy Heart Function: supports the heart's ordinary working in the Ayurvedic sense.
- Sadhaka Pitta Balance: cooling to the aspect of Pitta the texts place at Hridaya.
- Sandhaniya Quality: the astringent action Ayurveda associates with tissue integrity.
Ingredients
Each 10 g of powder contains: Arjuna, Terminalia arjuna, Stem Bark - 10 g.

Suggested Use
Take ½ to 1 teaspoon simmered briefly in warm milk, the classical Ksheerapaka preparation, once daily in the early morning on an empty stomach.
