Kottakkal Aravindasavam is a classical fermented tonic. Its name joins Aravinda, the sacred lotus, with asava, a naturally fermented preparation, giving the fermented elixir of the lotus. Gently built around soothing Aravinda (lotus), strengthening Bala and nourishing Amalaki, this mild and time-honoured liquid has long been cherished as a family tonic, valued for supporting healthy digestion, a natural appetite and steady, growing strength, helping the body feel nourished, light and comfortably resilient.
Ayurvedic Significance
In classical practice this gentle Asavam is regarded as a mild Rasayana that nurtures the growing and the delicate. Its lotus-led, cooling composition supports the Rasa and Rakta Dhatu while soft Deepana and Pachana action kindles Agni and helps the body process Ama. Bala lends Balya, strength-giving support, and Amalaki with Triphala fruits offers gentle, rejuvenating nourishment. Because it is naturally fermented, the actives are refined into an easily assimilated form suited to sensitive digestion. Practitioners have long relied on it to encourage appetite, steady nourishment and a comfortably balanced, well-supported constitution.
Key Benefits
