Sudarsana DS from AVN Ayurveda Formulations is one of the broadest formulations in the Ayurvedic repertoire, drawing on fifty-five declared constituents led by Kiratatikta. The name joins su, meaning good or auspicious, with darsana, meaning sight. It is also the name of Vishnu's discus, the weapon that turns and cuts clean through, which is why the texts gave it to so decisive a preparation. This jar holds 1000 tablets.

Ayurvedic Significance

Bitterness is the organising principle here. Kiratatikta carries more than a third of the tablet by weight, and the bitter Rasa is what Ayurveda turns to for Deepana and Pachana when the season shifts and Agni falters. Musta and Guduchi steady digestion behind it. Triphala, Trikatu and the aromatic barks widen the reach across the Srotas, while Yashtimadhu and Shatavari soften the whole. The result is a formulation for the turn of the seasons, when Ojas needs holding steady.

Key Benefits

  • Seasonal wellness: the bitter dravyas are what Ayurveda has long reached for when the season turns and the body needs holding steady.
  • Healthy immune function: Guduchi is the classical Rasayana for resilience, and here it sits among a wide supporting cast.
  • Strong Agni: Kiratatikta, Musta and the three Trikatu dravyas give the formulation its Deepana and Pachana character.
  • Healthy liver function: the bitter group has a long association with steady, comfortable function of the organ that handles what we eat.
  • Breadth of reach: fifty-five declared constituents let a single formulation touch several Srotas at once, which is why practitioners keep it within reach.

Two tablets twice daily, after food, with warm water as the Anupana. Warm water carries a strongly bitter formulation without chilling Agni further. Given the breadth of this composition, set the length of the course with a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner.

Safety & Certifications

  • WHO GMP certification: prepared by AVN Ayurveda Formulations at their WHO GMP certified facility in Madurai, Tamil Nadu.
  • Authentic sourcing: every one of the declared dravyas is identified and sourced from its recognised growing region.
  • Strict quality standards: in-house specifications govern each stage, from raw material intake through to the sealed jar.
  • Heavy metal testing: batches are tested for heavy metals using state-of-the-art ICP-OES equipment.
  • Standardisation: high-tech analytical tools, including HPTLC, hold a formulation of this breadth consistent batch after batch.
  • Potent constituents: several dravyas in this group call for measured use, so keep to the suggested serving and let a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner guide any longer course.
  • Thoughtful use: seek that same guidance during pregnancy or nursing, or alongside any existing regimen.
  • Storage: keep the jar tightly closed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, and out of reach of children.
