Triphala Guggul joins two of the oldest names in Ayurveda. Triphala means simply the three fruits — tri, three, and phala, fruit — naming the Haritaki, Bibhitaki and Amalaki that make up its base. Guggulu is the purified oleo-gum resin of Commiphora mukul, prized for its scraping, mobilising quality. Trikatu rounds out the combination and sharpens absorption. The tablets are uncoated and binder-free.
Ayurvedic Significance
Where Triphala alone works gently on the Purishavaha and Annavaha srotas, the addition of Guggulu gives the formulation a distinctly Lekhana character — it scrapes rather than merely soothes. Ama, the sticky residue of incomplete digestion, is the classical target here. Trikatu supplies Deepana and Pachana action, lifting Agni so that food is properly broken down and assimilated instead of settling into the channels. Amalaki tempers the whole with its Rasayana quality, which is why the combination is considered suitable for extended seasonal use rather than short bursts.
Key Benefits
- Supports the Natural Clearing of Ama — the Guggulu resin lends the formula its scraping quality, helping the body clear metabolic residue from the digestive channels rather than let it accumulate.
- Supports Comfortable Digestion — Trikatu kindles Agni, encouraging food to be broken down cleanly and leaving the abdomen light and settled after meals.
- Supports Comfortable Regularity — Triphala has been the traditional choice for gentle, unhurried bowel rhythm for well over two thousand years.
- Supports Healthy Metabolism — the pairing of Guggulu with Trikatu is the classical approach to keeping Meda dhatu and metabolic activity in good order, including healthy lipid levels already within a normal range.
- Supports Everyday Vitality — when digestion works well and the channels stay clear, energy follows. Amalaki adds its own Rasayana strength to that effect.

Binder-Free Formulation — these tablets are compressed without the use of synthetic binding agents or artificial stabilizers.
Formulated according to the traditional principles of Ayurveda.
All Prana Ayurveda herbs are sourced from select wild regions of India, where they naturally develop higher concentrations of active constituents.
Suggested Use
Adults may take one to two tablets twice daily, after meals. Warm water is the customary Anupana and suits the scraping character of the formula. Those using it mainly for evening regularity often prefer a single serving at bedtime with warm water instead. Allow several weeks of steady use. For dosage and duration suited to your constitution (Prakriti), consult a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner.
Safety & Certifications
- GMP Certified — produced in a GMP-certified facility under documented quality controls at every stage.

- Authentic Sourcing — each botanical is identified and harvested at maturity, then verified before it enters the batch.
- Pure, Uncoated & Binder-Free — nothing is added to hold the tablet together and no coating is applied.
- Vegan — entirely plant and resin derived, with no dairy, honey or animal-origin material.
- Non-GMO — no genetically modified crop material is used.
- Sustainably Sourced — wild-harvested by traditional methods that allow the parent stands to regenerate.

- Manufactured in WHO GMP-certified facilities, every Prana Ayurveda formulation honors classical Ayurvedic wisdom while meeting modern quality and safety standards.
Additional Information
Guggul, Guggulu and Gulgulu are different transliterations of the same Sanskrit word, so Triphala Guggul and Triphala Guggulu name one preparation. Triphala itself is often written Triphla or Trifala, and its powdered form appears as Churna or Choorna. The manufacturer does not state a per-tablet weight for this pack, so none is quoted here.
