Bhringraj Amalaki Hair Oil is Bhringamalakadi Taila in a 100 ml size, an easy way to begin oiling the head. The Sanskrit name is a compound. Bhringaraja, king of the bhringa or bee, then Amalaka, the fruit of Amalaki, then adi, the group beginning with these. Taila names the sesame oil in which the herbs and cow's milk are cooked together over a slow, patient heat.

Ayurvedic Significance

Cooking a Taila with Kshira, cow's milk, is a recognised classical step, and Ayurveda values it for the Snigdha and Madhura qualities milk leaves behind in the finished oil. Those qualities are exactly what a dry, Vata aggravated scalp asks for. Applied as Snehana over the head, Bhringamalakadi Taila softens the Twak, eases the Romakupa and lets Bhringaraja and Amalaki settle in. Ayurveda counts Kesha an Upadhatu of Asthi Dhatu, so hair care is understood as tissue care.

Key Benefits

  • Scalp nourishment: the Kshira cooked base leaves the scalp soft rather than merely coated.
  • Natural shine: hair reads smoother and catches the light after regular oiling.
  • Comfort for dryness: Snigdha and Madhura qualities suit a Vata aggravated, flaky feeling scalp.
  • An easy size to start with: 100 ml is enough to establish the habit and travels well.
  • Pairs with a classical companion: traditionally alternated with Nilibhringadi Taila for variety in a hair care routine.

Ingredients

Each 100 ml of certified organic Sesame oil (Tila Taila) is processed with Bhringaraja (Eclipta alba), whole plant, Amalaki (Emblica officinalis), fruit pericarp, Yastimadhu (Glycyrrhiza glabra), root, and Cow's milk (Kshira).

100% Certified Organic Herbally Infused Oil. Carefully packaged in opaque, light-protective bottles to reduce light exposure and help preserve product quality. All certified organic Gopala Herbs are sourced from jungle farms in South India, located in the biodiverse Western Ghats where plants naturally develop higher concentrations of active constituents. Herbs are ethically harvested using traditional harvesting techniques at peak maturity, helping ensure maximum potency, nutrition and energetic integrity.

Suggested Use

Warm a little oil in the palms and apply it to the scalp with the fingertips, massaging gently for five minutes before working it through the lengths. Leave for thirty minutes or overnight, then wash out with a mild cleanser. Consult a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner.
