Kamadudha Vati draws its name from Kamadhenu, the wish-fulfilling celestial cow, reflecting a classical formula treasured for granting the gift of cooling comfort. This traditional Sada edition brings together the time-honoured Pitta-soothing minerals Pravala, Shouktik, Kapardika and Shankha Bhasma with Shuddha Suvarna Gairik and refreshing Guduchi Satva. Rich in naturally calcium-bearing marine sources, it is embraced across Ayurveda to balance Pitta, ease internal heat and promote a serene, cooled and well-settled sense of everyday comfort and steadiness.
Ayurvedic Significance
In Ayurveda, Kamadudha Vati is a celebrated Pittashamak formulation, prized for its Sheetal, cooling nature. It is classically associated with Amlapitta, reframed here as the pursuit of comfortable Pitta balance and a settled internal environment rather than any ailment. The coral and conch Bhasmas are traditionally regarded as soothing to the dhatus, calming excess heat and lending a gentle, grounding quality. Guduchi Satva adds a refreshing, harmonising touch. Together these ingredients are esteemed for supporting Rakta and Pitta balance, promoting a cooled, composed and comfortable sense of well-being, especially in warm conditions.
