A herbal mix that has been used for a long time to support healthy digestion, regular bowel movements, and gut health.
Hingvashtaka, sometimes called Hingvashtaka Churna, is a traditional Ayurvedic mixture of eight strong herbs and spices that are carefully mixed to help digestion, keep bowel movements regular, and ease common digestive problems like bloating, gas, and rare constipation. Asafoetida, or Hingu, is the main ingredient in this recipe. It is a strong-smelling gum resin that comes from the Ferula tree and is known for its ability to warm, flatten, and digest food.
Our Certified Organic Hingvashtaka Powder is a handy, easy-to-use powder form of this centuries-old blend. It keeps the full potency and traditional effectiveness of each ingredient.
Based on Ayurveda, digestion is controlled by the Agni (digestive fire), which turns food into nutrients and gets rid of toxins. If there is an imbalance of Vata dosha in the digestive system, it can cause gas, bloating, incomplete digestion, and bowel movements that don't go as planned. For example, Hingvashtaka is meant to calm down Vata in the gut, boost stomach enzymes, and help food break down in a healthy way.
The eight-spice mix has the right amount of warming and cooling qualities to help digestion without making Pitta worse, which helps keep the gut environment calm and comfortable. This makes it a great daily stomach aid for people of all ages who want an Ayurvedic, natural way to keep their gut healthy.
