Charak Gum Tone Ayurvedic Tooth Powder is a classical herbal dentifrice crafted to support healthy gums, strong teeth and fresh, clean breath. Astringent Babul (Acacia arabica) and the aptly named Vajradanti join fragrant Bakul and time-honoured Khadira, along with the three fruits of Triphala, in a finely blended powder that tones the gums and keeps the whole mouth feeling clean, firm and cared for every day.
Ayurvedic Significance
In Ayurveda, the health of the mouth, or Mukha, and the strength of the Danta and gums are closely tied to balanced Kapha and clean, well-toned tissues. Astringent and aromatic dravyas are traditionally chosen for daily oral care, valued for their kashaya rasa that firms and tones the gums while keeping excess Kapha and stagnation in check. This powder draws on herbs such as Babul, Vajradanti and Khadira, long used in classical dinacharya to keep the gums resilient, the teeth strong and the breath fresh. Regular gum massage with such powders is a cherished part of daily self-care.
Key Benefits
- Tones the gums — astringent Babul and Vajradanti help keep the gums firm and healthy.
- Strong teeth — mineral-rich herbs and Triphala support the natural strength of the teeth.
- Fresh, clean breath — aromatic Karpura and Lavang leave the mouth feeling clean and refreshed.
- Balances Kapha in the mouth — the kashaya-rich blend helps check stagnation and heaviness.
- Daily oral-care ritual — a classical dentifrice for gentle gum massage as part of dinacharya.
