Kanchanar Guggulu is a traditional Ayurvedic formula used for kapha accumulations in the tissues. Breaks down deep-seated kapha, supports proper function of the lymphatic system and Promotes elimination of toxins. The addition of kanchanara (Baubinia variegata) makes this compound useful for swollen glands, particularly in the head and neck region (as in scrofula and Hodgkin's disease), and for fistulas or draining sinuses. It also scrapes fat from the body.
Kanchanar is the herb of choice in all-glandular diseases. Traditionally used in India to treat thyroid diseases and glandular enlargements. It is also a specific herb for hypo/hyper thyroid. It has a balancing activity on the thyroxine production; increasing any deficient production and decreasing any excess. It also clears swellings in the neck and goitre.
Suggested Dosage:2 tablets two to three times daily.
