Maharishi Triphala Tablets

Triphala is held in high esteem by all scriptures of Ayurveda for its rejuvenating (rasayana) properties. As it consists of all three rejuvenating herbs, it is one of the best rasayana formulation. It is also known as divine or miracle rasayana.

Triphala prevents aging, imparts longevity, stimulates immunity, benevolent for all seven dhatus and also improves the mental faculties. It is the most commonly used, easily available and the most economical Ayurvedic preparation. The powder of mature fruits of Haritaki, Bibhitaka, and Amalaki, together in equal quantity, is its basic structure. It is the common most preparation, used as a laxative. It alleviates the constipation by smooth evacuation of bowels.

Triphala churna is recommended to cleanse the teeth and massage the gums in pyorrhoea or bleeding gums. It exerts a potent astringent activity and strengthens the gums. Dry powder massage (udgharshana) with Triphala powder is highly rewarding to reduce excessive subcutaneous body fats in obesity. The hair-wash with Triphala decoction soothens the hair and adds to their lustre and prevents premature greying.

Suggested Use:

500 mg to 1 gm; daily, at night, with honey (as rasayana).
1-3 gm; at bet time, with warm water (for detoxification).
